The Active 20-30 # 43 of Placerville was founded in 1929. Our chapter is geared towards men in their 20's and 30's. The club's objective is to serve the community while building lasting friendships and rendering service to youth. Active 20-30 membership draws from all professions and is open to everyone. Our organization differs from many service organizations in that not only do we raise money for needy charities, but we also insist on "hands on" interaction. This active participation serves to solidify our relationships with those we serve, maintains motivation, and produces a high degree of personal satisfaction. We serve the children of El Dorado County through direct contributions in excess of $40,000 annually. The distribution of these monies is voted on by the membership as a whole. One hundred percent of all funds go to charities; absolutely no money goes for administrative or overhead costs. Some of the groups we assist include: Boys and Girls Club, City Parks, New Morning Youth Services, Little League, School Programs, and many individual cases of children in need.
